I moved to Cumbria in 2008 and ever since I have continually remained an active member of our local community as time has allowed me. I have been a member of Carlisle Ambassadors, Cumbria Chamber of Commerce and Cumbria Growth Hub to name but a few organisations that drive business forward in Cumbria.
I have worked in various roles across the county, having been a Personal Secretary, Deputy Manager at Dixons Stores Group and spent 19 years as the Company Director of Special Expressions Ltd.
Given the constraints presented by Covid-19, ceased trading and sought employment around my passion for helping people. It’s that passion for helping people within this community that drives me to succeed. I want the best for the people of our local area and if given the opportunity I will ensure that your voice is heard at all levels of government.
I want to embrace the successful £23 million Workington Town Deal bid, improve our town centre, secure quality jobs for our local area and promote Workington across the county as the commercial hub for West Cumbria.
Our town has lots to shout about and I want to deliver these improvements to secure its future.
